Doug E. Fresh back at it again!
Quite a few more caddis out there, although the fish are not really on them as much as we'd like to see. The wind has been blowing pretty good, which have probably kept the trout at bay. With thousands of caddis fluttering along the banks it shouldn't be long before the fish key up and start eating dries. We've had some good reports through town on trudes, especially in the side channels and back eddies. The "foot soldiers" are definitely coming out of the woodworks this week. Every spot I stopped there were at least two vehicles. I think in a couple days things are going to be off the hook, but for now they are still pretty tame.
